Kyler Murray fires back at ex-teammate Patrick Peterson over podcast jab

Kyler Murray only cares about Kyler Murray, according to Peterson. "That's just the way the situation is."

Peterson and his co-host, former NFL cornerback Bryant McFadden, were talking about whether they thought Kliff Kingsbury,

coach of the Arizona Cardinals, will end up becoming the "scapegoat" for a bad season. Currently 4-8, the Cardinals are on their bye week.

"This isn't on some crazy sh— @P2 you got my phone, if you really felt like this as a "big bro" or "mentor,"

you supposed to contact me and tell me, not drag me so your podcast can grow," Murray wrote in a Tweet three hours after a clip from Peterson's show, "All Things Covered."

In 2019 and 2020, Peterson and Murray were teammates.

Prior to Peterson's remarks, McFadden stated his opinion that Murray needs to keep some of his ideas to himself.

It seems to me that he doesn't care about his head coach and that he is blaming him for everything, McFadden added.
