Dua Lipa reveals she won't be playing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup

Dua Lipa sent out a disclaimer debunking any speculation about her performance at the event.

The "Physical" singer announced to the public via her Instagram story.

She outlined her reasons for her absence at the big event taking place in Qatar.

Lipa clarified that until Qatar fulfills its human rights duties she wouldn't visit the country.

She however declared that she would be supporting her country England from afar.

Qatar's ambassador, Khalid Salman made some controversial statements.

He disclosed that homosexuality was forbidden in his country.

Salman stated that attendees at the 2022 Fifa World Cup must abide by Qatar's rules.

Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter said he regretted having allowed Qatar to host the world cup.
